Golden Class Limo provides chauffeured car, van and bus transportation to Prudential Center in downtown Newark, New Jersey, for Devils games, college basketball and the arena's other sporting events.
The arena is about four miles from Newark Liberty International Airport, so we often collect visiting groups straight off a flight. Group vehicles start at $1,712 for a motor coach seating up to 55 and $342 for a 14-passenger Sprinter van, with sedans and SUVs from $179.
Company groups from Manhattan are the other big share: one vehicle through the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel, dropped together at the arena and brought back across the river afterwards, instead of a crowd on the PATH.

Prudential Center is easy once you are in downtown Newark. Getting a group there from an airport gate, a Manhattan office or a New Jersey suburb is the part that needs planning.
The arena sits on Lafayette Street near Newark Penn Station, surrounded by downtown streets that fill quickly before a Devils game or a Seton Hall night. Garages and lots are available, but finding one, paying for it and walking back through the crowd adds time for a group, and so does getting out again afterwards.
Visiting fans and business guests often arrive by air, and Newark Liberty is only about four miles away. Company groups from Manhattan have to cross the Hudson through the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel. Clubs and families from Morris, Essex and Bergen counties have a short drive in but a long late one home.
A booked vehicle handles all three. It collects at the airport, the office or the neighbourhood, drops the group together near the arena, waits through the event and takes everyone back without anyone having to navigate downtown Newark after dark.
Tell us the event, how many people and where they start, and we will price the trip in about a minute.
Flight-tracked pickups at Newark Liberty, with bags held in the vehicle or dropped at the hotel on the way.
Agreed before the event near the arena, so the group walks straight to its vehicle after the final horn.
If the game goes long, the chauffeur waits. The plan is built around the end of the event, not a fixed time.
Our own drivers, at home in both tunnels, on the Turnpike and on the downtown Newark streets.
Client events and staff outings from Manhattan or New Jersey billed to a single corporate account.
A licensed operator, with commercial insurance covering every sedan, van and bus we send.
Groups dominate our Prudential Center bookings, so the larger vehicles come first. Unsure between two? We will tell you which fits.
A visiting team or supporters' group off a flight into Newark, a company outing from Manhattan, or a youth hockey club with parents.
A department crossing from Lower Manhattan, or a suburban family group heading in for a Saturday game.
Business travellers coming straight from Newark Liberty with luggage, or a small group from Jersey City.
A single guest or a couple you are bringing from a Manhattan hotel or collecting from an arriving flight.
Indicative flat rates. The confirmed fare, including any wait through the event and any airport leg, depends on the date and pickup address.

Ranges in ordinary traffic. The tunnels in the evening rush and the crowd leaving downtown Newark after an event both take longer.

When the arena empties, the nearby streets and the walk to Newark Penn Station fill up at once. The group leaves from a planned spot instead.
Before the event your chauffeur and the group organiser agree where to meet afterwards, a short walk from the arena and clear of the main exits. The vehicle is held there or nearby rather than joining the queue on the streets immediately around the building.
Once the group is out, the organiser sends a message and everyone walks over. Coaches are loaded where a large vehicle can stop safely, as agreed beforehand. From there the route is set on the traffic of the moment: back through a tunnel to Manhattan, onto I-280 toward Morris County, or south to Newark Liberty for a late flight.
A large share of our Prudential Center work is booked by companies in Manhattan and New Jersey for staff, clients and visiting colleagues.
For a Manhattan firm the usual plan is a late-afternoon collection at the office, through the tunnel to the arena, a wait during the event and a return to the office or to people's homes. For visiting colleagues flying into Newark, we can meet the flight and fold them into the same evening.
Billing sits on one company account with one contact, however many vehicles are involved. For companies that host clients through the hockey season, we keep the plan on file so each new date only needs a quick confirmation.
Golden Class Limo is an independent transportation provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official supplier to Prudential Center, the New Jersey Devils, Seton Hall University or any event organiser.

A few miles north on local highways into downtown Newark. Visiting groups and business travellers can land late in the afternoon, check in and still be at the arena for the start.
Price this routeThrough the Holland Tunnel and west to Newark. A frequent company booking, because the office is a tunnel away and the group wants to travel as one.
Price this routeOut through the Lincoln Tunnel and down the New Jersey Turnpike. The tunnel sets the pace in the evening rush, so pickups for a seven o'clock start are set well before five-thirty.
Price this routeNo river crossing, just the short run west to downtown Newark. Popular with waterfront offices taking clients or staff to a Devils game.
Price this routeEast on I-280 into Newark. Suburban youth hockey clubs and families book this one so parents do not have to navigate downtown or drive back late.
Price this routeOver the Goethals Bridge and up the Turnpike. Closer to Newark than most of Manhattan, and a straightforward run for a family or neighbourhood group.
Price this routeEWR is minutes from the arena. Our Newark airport pages cover the car, van and bus options for arriving groups in detail.
Flight tracked, chauffeur assigned, meeting point set, one flat price.
Prudential Center is at 25 Lafayette Street in downtown Newark, a short walk from Newark Penn Station, which is served by NJ Transit, Amtrak and the PATH. It seats about 16,500 for hockey and is home to the New Jersey Devils and Seton Hall University men's basketball.
The feature that sets it apart from the other arenas we serve is the airport. Newark Liberty is only about four miles away, typically 10 to 20 minutes by car, which makes it easy to fly a team, a client group or a set of visiting fans in for an event and take them back out afterwards.
From Lower Manhattan the usual route is the Holland Tunnel, then west to Newark; from Midtown it is the Lincoln Tunnel and the New Jersey Turnpike. Either way the tunnel is the part that varies, and a weeknight start at seven lands in the heaviest traffic of the day.
The PATH to Newark Penn Station is a good option for one or two people travelling light. For a company group it means everyone making their own way to a station, often changing trains, and walking through downtown after a late finish. A single vehicle collecting the group at the office and bringing everyone back is simpler and keeps the evening on schedule.
Many of our Prudential Center bookings come from New Jersey itself: youth hockey clubs from Morris and Bergen counties, families from the suburbs and offices along the waterfront in Jersey City and Hoboken. For them the arena is close, but downtown parking, the late drive home and keeping a group together are reasons to hand the driving to someone else.
The same Prudential Center car service covers those trips with sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans and buses, quoted as a flat fare with the wait during the event included in the plan.
About four miles. The drive from Newark Liberty International Airport to the arena is typically 10 to 20 minutes outside rush hour, one of the shortest airport runs to any venue we serve. Airport pickups include flight tracking, so a delay moves the collection time automatically.
Yes. We track the flight, meet the group at arrivals, load bags into the vehicle and drive straight to the arena or via the hotel. The same vehicle can wait through the game and take everyone back to the hotel or the airport afterwards.
For a group, one chauffeured vehicle through the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel is usually the easiest option. It collects everyone at the office, drops them together at the arena and brings them back across the river after the event. The PATH suits individuals, but it means everyone travelling separately and walking from Newark Penn Station late at night.
At a meeting point agreed before the event, a short walk from the arena and away from the busiest exits. When the event ends you message your chauffeur, walk to the spot and the vehicle is waiting or pulls up within minutes. Large vehicles are collected where a coach can load safely.
If you are a pair from nearby, driving can be fine. For a group, for guests from Manhattan, or for anyone who does not want to navigate downtown Newark and drive home late, a booked vehicle is simpler. There is no parking to find or pay for, and the group stays together from start to finish.
Yes. Seton Hall men's basketball plays home games at Prudential Center, and we move alumni groups, families and supporters from across New Jersey and New York to those games in the same way as for hockey, with the vehicle waiting through the game.
Yes. Suburban New Jersey groups are a large part of our Prudential Center work. A 14-passenger Sprinter van suits a youth hockey team with parents, and a mini bus or coach takes a bigger club. We collect near home and bring everyone back after the event.
Yes. Our quotes are flat fares, and the tolls on the route are included in the price you are given. If traffic sends the vehicle through a different crossing on the night, the fare does not change.
Often, yes, because the arena is so close to Newark Liberty. We plan the schedule around the arrival and departure times, the event length and security at the airport, and tell you honestly if the connection is too tight to be comfortable.
