For a sporting event, your chauffeur and group contact agree a meeting point away from the busiest parking exits before it starts, and the group walks over together when it ends. Coaches load where a large vehicle can stop, arranged in advance.
For a corporate gathering, returns can be staggered: a van leaving for the hotels every so often, an executive's car called when they are ready, and a final coach for the last group. The organiser has one number to call to adjust any of it on the day.

Getting to and from Nassau Coliseum
In the middle of Nassau County
Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum is at 1255 Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale, beside Hofstra University and a short distance from Garden City and Roosevelt Field. First opened in 1972 and reopened after a major renovation in 2017, it is a mid-size arena used for sporting events and for large corporate gatherings and expos.
The nearest main roads are Hempstead Turnpike, the Meadowbrook State Parkway and the Northern State, with the Long Island Expressway a few miles north. There is no Long Island Rail Road station at the arena, so most people arrive by car from somewhere else on the island.
Events that do not all run to the same clock
A sporting event at the Coliseum has a start and a finish like any arena. A corporate gathering or an expo is different: attendees may arrive through the morning, leave at different times, or need to go back and forth between the venue and a hotel. The transport plan has to follow that schedule rather than a single exit.
