From the city line to western Suffolk, each town has its own roads and its own kind of pickup. Every other Long Island town is covered too.
A peninsula of villages on Manhasset Bay, the closest of the North Shore towns to the city line. Apartment buildings near the LIRR station and large houses toward Kings Point, all a short hop to LaGuardia.
The Miracle Mile shops on Northern Boulevard and a major hospital campus, surrounded by wooded residential streets. Pickups here are often a patient, a visiting consultant or a family heading to the airport.
A planned village of wide avenues, a landmark hotel and the county courts next door in Mineola, minutes from Roosevelt Field. Central enough that JFK, the arenas and the LIE are all close.
A walkable village and harbor in western Suffolk, with a busy Main Street and quiet streets above it. Further out, so the ride to JFK or into Manhattan is planned around the Northern State and LIE traffic.
A historic village around a clock tower and a millpond, with Roslyn Harbor and Roslyn Heights on either side. Narrow village lanes mean the chauffeur agrees the pickup spot before arriving.
Gold Coast estates behind gates and long private drives, plus two college campuses and a famous public garden. A pickup here usually starts with a gate code and enough room to turn a large vehicle around.
Family neighborhoods, a busy LIRR station and office buildings along Jericho Turnpike, right beside an LIE exit. A common starting point for company groups heading to a client, a game or the airport.
The end of the LIRR's Port Washington line, with marinas along Manhasset Bay and the estates of Sands Point to the north. The waterfront roads are slow in summer, so pickups are timed with that in mind.
Give us the flight and the address. The chauffeur and the timing are confirmed ahead of the day.
Gates, stations, office parks and village main streets each need a different plan.
Estates in Old Westbury and Sands Point sit behind gates and long private drives. The gate code goes on the booking, and larger vehicles are confirmed to fit the turn.
Mineola, Hicksville, Syosset and Huntington stations get busy at commuter times. We name the side of the station and the drop-off lane so the car is easy to find.
Corporate campuses in Lake Success, Jericho and Melville have visitor lots and front desks. The booking records the building and the entrance.
Great Neck, Roslyn and Huntington have busy, narrow village centers with metered parking. The chauffeur waits on a side street and pulls up as you come out.
The Northern State, Southern State and other parkways are closed to buses, so mini buses and coaches use the expressway and the turnpikes, on a route set in advance.
Long Island pickups are outside Manhattan's congestion relief zone. It only matters when the trip ends inside it in Manhattan, and we confirm that at booking.

Long Island is not one kind of place. Nassau County, closest to the city, runs from the Gold Coast estates of the North Shore through planned villages like Garden City to the beach towns of the South Shore. Suffolk County stretches much further east, from Huntington and Hauppauge's office parks out toward the Hamptons and Montauk. A car service here has to plan for a ten-minute village hop and a two-hour cross-island run in the same day.
The roads shape the job. The Long Island Expressway is the spine through the middle of the island, with the Northern State and Southern State parkways alongside it and Northern Boulevard and Jericho Turnpike carrying local traffic between the towns. Which one is moving at the hour you leave decides the drive, and a chauffeur who knows them is worth more than the mileage suggests.
Most of Nassau is closer to JFK than to any other airport: from central Nassau it is typically 25 to 45 minutes, by the Southern State and the Belt Parkway or up the Cross Island. LaGuardia is usually 35 to 55 minutes and is often the better choice from Great Neck, Manhasset and Port Washington on the North Shore. Newark and Teterboro mean crossing the whole city and are planned as long runs.
The expressways are the variable. An early-morning flight from Huntington or Syosset can hit the LIE before it fills; a late-afternoon departure can double the same trip. We set the pickup time against the flight and the day, track arrivals so a delay moves the chauffeur, and send the chauffeur's details ahead of the pickup.
Long Island travels in groups more than the city does. Companies along the Long Island Expressway corridor, from Lake Success to Melville, send teams to clients and conferences; families gather for graduations and milestone celebrations; and UBS Arena at Belmont Park and Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale draw company outings and friends who want to arrive together. On the Gold Coast, estate events bring guests who need collecting from the station or the city and taking home again.
The fleet is sized for all of it. A 14-passenger Mercedes Sprinter carries a team and 14 bags; mini buses seat 23, 29, 32 and 38; and a 40-passenger charter bus or a 55-passenger motor coach takes a whole department or a large family party, with several vehicles running on one booking when the group is bigger still.
Large vehicles need planning that cars do not. The Northern State, Southern State and the island's other parkways are closed to buses and commercial vehicles, so a mini bus or coach travels the Long Island Expressway, Jericho Turnpike or Northern Boulevard instead. Gated estates and narrow village streets also need a loading point agreed with the organizer before the day.
The LIE carries most trips west into Queens and on through the Queens-Midtown Tunnel to Manhattan, typically 50 to 85 minutes from central Nassau; the Throgs Neck Bridge is the way north to the Bronx, Westchester and Connecticut. Heading east, the same expressway runs out toward the Hamptons, where trips are planned as long-distance runs.
A Long Island pickup sits outside Manhattan's congestion relief zone. The charge only enters a trip that ends inside the zone in Manhattan, and in that case we confirm what applies when you book.
JFK and LaGuardia, UBS Arena and Nassau Coliseum each have their own page, and so does Queens on the way into the city.
From central Nassau, around Garden City and Uniondale, JFK is typically 25 to 45 minutes and LaGuardia 35 to 55 minutes in ordinary traffic. Towns further east in Suffolk, like Huntington or Hauppauge, add time, and the Long Island Expressway at rush hour can add a great deal more. Your exact address sets the pickup time.
From Great Neck, Manhasset, Port Washington and much of the North Shore, LaGuardia is usually the shorter drive, along the Long Island Expressway or the Cross Island Parkway. From the South Shore and central Nassau, JFK tends to win. If the flight times are close, we can tell you which run is likely to be quicker on your day.
By the hour, an executive sedan is $85 with a 2-hour minimum, a Cadillac Escalade ESV $95, a 14-passenger Sprinter $110 with a 3-hour minimum, a mini bus $150 and a motor coach $250 with a 5-hour minimum. Airport transfers and one-way trips are quoted from your exact pickup address when you book.
No. Long Island's parkways, including the Northern State, Southern State, Meadowbrook and Wantagh, are closed to buses and commercial vehicles. A mini bus or motor coach uses the Long Island Expressway, Jericho Turnpike, Sunrise Highway or Northern Boulevard instead, and its route and loading point are planned before the day.
Yes. Groups are collected from an office, a home or a meeting point anywhere on the island and taken to UBS Arena at Belmont Park or Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale together, in a Sprinter for up to 14, a mini bus seating up to 38 or a 55-passenger coach. Each arena has its own page covering arrival and collection.
Yes. Offices along the LIE corridor, from Lake Success to Melville, book Sprinters for teams and sedans for executives, often by the hour for a full day in the city. Midtown is typically 50 to 85 minutes from central Nassau, so we plan the pickup around the expressway and the first meeting.
Yes. On estates in Old Westbury, Sands Point, Muttontown and elsewhere on the Gold Coast, the booking records the gate code or gatehouse contact and where the vehicle should wait. For a Sprinter or coach we also confirm that the drive has room to turn, and agree a loading point at the gate if it does not.
All of them. That includes Great Neck, Manhasset, Garden City, Huntington, Roslyn, Old Westbury, Syosset and Port Washington, along with Oyster Bay, Glen Cove, Jericho, Melville, Massapequa, Merrick, Long Beach, Smithtown, Stony Brook and the towns further east.
Yes, and it is often worth it with luggage, a group or an early start. We run door to door from any Long Island address to Penn Station, Grand Central Madison or anywhere else in Manhattan, and a Sprinter keeps a family or a team together for the same trip.
Yes. Every Nassau and Suffolk pickup is outside Manhattan's congestion relief zone, so travel on Long Island is not affected. It can only apply when the trip ends inside the zone in Manhattan, and in that case we confirm what applies when you book rather than adding it later.
