Golden Class Limo runs chauffeured car, van and bus transportation to and from Madison Square Garden, the arena above Penn Station in Midtown Manhattan.
Most Garden bookings are groups and company nights out: mini buses and motor coaches seating up to 55 from $1,635, Mercedes Sprinter vans for up to 14 from $316, and sedans and SUVs for smaller parties from $128.
There is nowhere to park beside the arena and the whole crowd leaves at once, so the part worth paying for is the pickup: your chauffeur waits a few blocks clear of the exit crush and meets you at a point agreed in advance.
Flat rates, in-house chauffeurs and dispatch 24/7, 365 days a year — book online in under a minute or call (718) 360-9383.
Sedans and SUVs for small parties, Sprinter vans for a department, mini buses and motor coaches for a company night out. Switch tabs by class, or quote one from its card.

The Garden has no car park, sits on top of Penn Station, and sends its whole crowd onto the same two avenues when the final buzzer goes.
Most big venues give you a lot to fight over. The Garden gives you none. It fills the blocks from Seventh to Eighth Avenue between 31st and 33rd Street, the garages around it fill early on an event night, and pulling up outside the doors is restricted. Driving yourself means paying event rates to park several blocks away, then walking back through the crowd.
Underneath is Penn Station, which is busy before anything happens in the arena. On a weeknight the evening commute and the arriving crowd share the same pavements, the same crossings and the same taxis. At the end of the night the arena and the station empty onto those corners together.
A chauffeured vehicle takes both halves of that away. You are dropped as close as the traffic allows, nobody is circling for a space, and afterwards the car is not parked in the crush waiting for you. It is held a few blocks clear and comes to you when the party is out.
Send the date, the headcount and where the group is coming from. You will have a price in under a minute.
Agreed before the event and away from the arena doors, so the group is not searching for a car on Seventh Avenue.
Pickups are set against Midtown traffic and the security lines, not just the start time printed on the ticket.
Corporate accounts are billed centrally, whether the night is one sedan or several coaches.
Employed and trained by us, not sent by a broker, and reachable directly on the night.
Commercially insured vehicles run by a licensed New York ground-transportation company.
One fleet, from a three-seat sedan to a 55-seat motor coach, so a mixed group books once.
Four sizes cover almost every Garden booking. Larger groups come first here because they are most of what we run to the arena.
A company night out, a client group or a whole team. One vehicle, one arrival and one collection point afterwards.
A department, a sales team with guests, or two families going together. The size most Garden groups turn out to be.
A small party that wants room to spread out, or a client you are collecting from a Midtown hotel.
One or two people who simply do not want to drive into Midtown or find a way home afterwards.
Indicative flat rates. Your exact fare, including any hold through the event, is confirmed once the pickup address and date are known.

Group vehicles go first on a busy night at the Garden. Book early and the flat rate stays the same.
Door-to-door ranges in ordinary traffic. The evening rush and the end of an event both run longer, which is what the pickup plan is for.

Getting a group to the Garden is easy to plan. Getting it out of Midtown at the same moment as the rest of the crowd is the real job.
When the event ends, Seventh and Eighth Avenues fill with people heading for Penn Station, the subway and every available taxi. Waiting outside the arena in that means sitting in traffic that is not moving, on a street where the vehicle may not be allowed to stop. So your chauffeur does not. The car is held a few blocks away, clear of the exits, and moves in when you send word that everyone is out.
For a group the collection point and a rough time window are set before the night, so nobody is coordinating by phone on a packed pavement. Mini buses and coaches are collected from a spot that can actually take a vehicle that size, because a full-length coach cannot wait on a Midtown avenue. The group leaves together, from one place, and the drive out of Midtown starts from a street that is moving.
Most Garden bookings are made by someone organising other people: an office manager, an executive assistant or a sales lead.
The pattern is simple. We collect from the office or the hotel, drop the group together, hold through the event and take everyone back to the office, the station or their own front doors afterwards. When guests are coming from more than one place, vehicles are sent to each and timed to arrive together.
Billing works the same way. A company account is invoiced centrally, so an evening for forty is one line on an expense report instead of a collection of taxi receipts. For teams that book the same kind of night through a season, we keep the arrangement on file.
Golden Class Limo is an independent transportation provider and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or an official supplier to Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks, the New York Rangers or any event organiser.
Distances and times are approximate and vary with traffic. Select a route to price it — we'll fill in the booking form for you.
The office run most company nights start with. Short on the map and slow at six o'clock, so the pickup is timed against the crosstown traffic rather than the tip-off.
Price this routeUp the West Side Highway and across on 34th Street. A common booking for a trading floor or a law firm taking clients uptown for the evening.
Price this routeOver a bridge or through the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel, whichever is moving. The ride home is the half people are glad not to be driving.
Price this routeThrough the Holland or Lincoln Tunnel into the west side of Midtown. Close enough that the tunnel queue, not the mileage, sets the time.
Price this routeDown the Major Deegan or the Henry Hudson Parkway, whichever is moving. One of the runs where a late finish makes a chauffeur worth the most.
Price this routeThe closest airport to the Garden. Flight tracking is included, so a visiting group landing late in the afternoon is met rather than stranded.
Price this routeGuests flying in are met with flight tracking, and a company booking covers every leg of the evening.

Madison Square Garden stands at 4 Pennsylvania Plaza, filling the blocks between Seventh and Eighth Avenues from 31st to 33rd Street. Directly underneath it is Penn Station, served by Amtrak, the Long Island Rail Road and NJ Transit, with Moynihan Train Hall across Eighth Avenue and the 1, 2, 3, A, C and E trains a staircase away. Close to twenty thousand people fill the arena for a Knicks game, and they arrive through the same few blocks as the evening commute.
That combination is what makes the Garden unusual among New York venues. There is no car park attached to it, the garages nearby fill early on event nights, and stopping directly outside the arena is heavily restricted. A driver who has not planned the drop-off ends up circling Seventh Avenue while the start time comes and goes.
The arena also sits inside New York's congestion relief zone, which covers Manhattan south of 60th Street. A trip that ends at the Garden is inside it whichever direction it comes from. We quote that charge at booking for your date rather than printing a figure here that may have changed.
Everyone going to the same event is aiming at the same start time, and every entrance has a security line. For a group we usually plan the drop-off 45 minutes to an hour before the start, which leaves room for the Midtown traffic on the way and the queue at the doors without anyone watching the clock from the back seat.
A weeknight start at seven is the hardest version of that trip, because it lands on top of the evening rush out of Penn Station. A weekend afternoon is easier on the roads and busier on the pavements. Either way, a chauffeur who knows which side street is moving that evening is worth more than a fixed route chosen when the booking was made.
Doors open well before the start, but the building empties in minutes. The crowd pours onto Seventh and Eighth Avenues, a large share of it heads straight down into Penn Station, and every taxi and rideshare in the area converges on the same corners. This is the moment a Madison Square Garden car service is really for.
Your chauffeur does not wait in that crush. The vehicle is held a few blocks away, clear of the exits, and moves in once you message that the party is out. For a coach the collection point is agreed before the date, because a full-size vehicle cannot sit on a Midtown avenue. From there the ride out of Midtown is chosen on the traffic in front of it: the Lincoln Tunnel for New Jersey, the West Side Highway north or south, or the Queens-Midtown Tunnel east.
At a meeting point agreed before the event, a few blocks clear of the arena rather than outside the doors. Stopping on the avenues beside the Garden is heavily restricted and the pavements are packed when the crowd lets out, so your chauffeur waits nearby and moves in once you message that the party is out. For a coach or mini bus the collection point is set in advance with the group organiser.
Yes. A group of 30 fits in one 32-seat mini bus, or a 40-passenger charter bus if the party may grow. Larger groups go in a 55-passenger motor coach or more than one vehicle on the same booking, collected together and staged together afterwards, so the organiser deals with one reservation and one contact.
For most groups, a car service. There is no car park attached to the arena, the nearby garages fill early on event nights and charge event rates, and leaving means joining the same Midtown gridlock as everyone else. With a chauffeur you are dropped close, nobody has to drive home, and the vehicle comes to you when you are ready rather than the other way round.
For a group, we plan the drop-off 45 minutes to an hour before the start. Every entrance has a security line and everyone attending is aiming at the same time. On a weeknight the trip into Midtown also runs into the evening rush, so we build that into the pickup time rather than the other way round.
Yes, and it is the main reason not to wait outside the arena. Penn Station sits directly beneath the Garden, so commuters and the departing crowd share the same pavements and corners at the end of an event. That is why your chauffeur holds the vehicle a few blocks away and collects you from an agreed spot instead of trying to stop at the station entrances.
One organiser, one booking. We collect from the office or hotel, drop the group together, hold through the event and bring everyone back or on to their homes afterwards. Vehicles can be sent from more than one office to arrive at the same time, and corporate accounts are invoiced centrally rather than car by car.
On the roads, yes. A weeknight start usually lands on the evening rush, when Midtown traffic and the Penn Station commute are at their heaviest, so the outbound pickup is earlier. Weekend afternoon events are lighter on traffic but busier on the pavements around the arena. The pickup plan changes with the day; the flat rate does not.
Yes. The congestion relief zone covers Manhattan south of 60th Street, and the Garden, at 31st to 33rd Street, is inside it. The charge and how it applies to for-hire vehicles has changed since the program began, so we confirm the amount that applies to your trip when you book instead of publishing a figure that may be out of date.
LaGuardia is the closest, typically 25 to 45 minutes. JFK is usually 45 to 75 minutes and Newark Liberty 40 to 70 through the Lincoln Tunnel, with Teterboro, for private aviation, around 30 to 50. Those are ordinary-traffic ranges; on an event night or in the evening rush they run longer, and flight tracking is included on every airport pickup.
Yes, from Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut and northern New Jersey as well as all five boroughs. Those are the groups that gain the most, because after a late finish nobody wants to drive an hour home or chase the last train out of Penn Station.
