Golden Class Limo runs chauffeured cars, vans and buses across the Upper East Side, from Fifth Avenue to the river and 59th Street up to 96th. Pickups are arranged at the building, so the car is at the door when you come down.
It is the quickest address in Manhattan for LaGuardia: the FDR runs along the eastern edge of the neighbourhood and feeds the RFK Bridge directly, so the trip never crosses town.
Newark is the opposite case: the Hudson crossings sit on the far side of the island, so a pickup here crosses town first. We build that into the timing rather than discovering it on the day.
Every size comes to the same address: a sedan or an Escalade ESV, a 14-passenger Sprinter, mini buses from 23 to 38 seats and a 55-seat coach. Rated 4.7 stars from 300+ Google reviews; dispatch answers around the clock on (718) 360-9383.
Park, Fifth and Madison are staffed addresses with rules of their own, so the meeting point is settled before the day.
A chauffeur arriving at a co-op does not simply pull up. Some boards allow a car under the canopy, some want it on the numbered side street, and some prefer the service entrance when there is luggage. We find out which applies to your address, and that becomes the standing arrangement.
The result is that nobody stands outside waiting. The desk has your name and the time, and the chauffeur is in position before you are called down.
Where a car can stand, and which vehicle fits, changes between them.
The hospital corridor, where the same riders book the same appointment run week after week.
Quieter streets in the nineties, heavier on schools and townhouses than offices, with kerbs that suit a sedan over a van.
East of Third Avenue toward the river, newer buildings with their own garages, and the fastest access to the FDR here.
The Fifth Avenue frontage along the park, where an evening opening can close a lane and the pickup moves by arrangement.
Filter to the class you need. A sedan or an Escalade covers most Upper East Side bookings; the vans and coaches come to the same address when the group is larger, loading from the avenue corner where a numbered street is too narrow.
Showing 13 of 13 vehicles.

Choose by headcount and the row opens the form with that vehicle selected.
The office run, a hospital appointment, or one traveller with carry-on to LaGuardia.
A family leaving a Fifth Avenue address with more luggage than a sedan takes.
A household moving together, a school group, or a delegation at one building.
Building events and hospital fundraisers, loading from the avenue rather than a numbered street.
A 55-seat coach will not turn into most of the side streets here, so it loads at an agreed avenue corner.
The quote comes back on your actual address, with the crossing already in the timing.
Four major hospitals sit inside this neighbourhood, which makes medical transport a weekly booking rather than an occasional one.
Lenox Hill, Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering and the Hospital for Special Surgery sit within a few blocks of each other on the eastern side of the neighbourhood. A course of treatment means the same trip on the same weekday for weeks, and what matters is not having to explain the arrangement again each time.
So it is set up once as a standing reservation: the same chauffeur where the roster allows, a vehicle chosen for how easily somebody gets in and out, and waiting time planned into the booking. An appointment that runs long does not cost you the car — an hourly booking holds it.
Typical door-to-door times from around East 72nd Street. Not the island-wide figures: LaGuardia is faster from here than anywhere else in Manhattan, Newark slower.
| To | Distance | Typical drive time |
|---|---|---|
| Airports | ||
| LaGuardia (LGA)FDR to the RFK Bridge — the shortest airport run on the island | ~7 miles | 20–40 minutes |
| JFKSouth on the FDR to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel | ~15 miles | 40–70 minutes |
| Newark Liberty (EWR)Crosstown first, then the Lincoln or Holland Tunnel | ~18 miles | 50–80 minutes |
| Teterboro (TEB)Across the park, then the George Washington Bridge | ~13 miles | 35–60 minutes |
Each row links to that airport's own page, where an arrival back into the city is tracked against the flight.
The shortest airport run on the island from this address, and the one worth booking rather than hailing.
The Manhattan hub covers the whole island and its fares; the airport pages cover each run.
The FDR Drive is the reason this is a straightforward place to fly from, and it only helps in one direction. It runs along the eastern edge of the neighbourhood and feeds straight into the RFK Bridge for LaGuardia, or south to the Queens-Midtown Tunnel for JFK. Neither run crosses the island, which is what makes both of them quick and, more usefully, predictable.
Newark and Teterboro are the exception, and we say so before you book rather than after: both need a crossing to the West Side first, through the park or around it, and that crossing is the part of the journey that varies most. It is not a reason to use a different airport. It is a reason to leave earlier than the mileage suggests, and the quote reflects it.
Almost the whole neighbourhood sits above 60th Street, outside the congestion relief zone that covers Manhattan below that line. A pickup on Park Avenue in the seventies starts outside it, where the same booking from Midtown does not.
It stops mattering the moment the journey continues south: a trip to a downtown meeting does enter the zone. We say so when quoting, so it is part of the price you agree rather than something that appears later.
LaGuardia, by a clear margin. The FDR Drive runs along the eastern edge of the neighbourhood and feeds the RFK Bridge directly, so the trip never crosses the island — typically twenty to forty minutes against the traffic of the day. JFK is next at roughly forty to seventy. Newark is the slow one from this address because it needs a crosstown leg first.
The chauffeur gives your name and time at the desk and waits where that particular building allows a car to stand, which the staff will tell us if we have not carried from the address before. You are called down when the car is in position, so nobody waits on the pavement and no vehicle sits on the avenue with its hazards running.
Yes, and it is one of the most common bookings we take here. Lenox Hill, Weill Cornell, Memorial Sloan Kettering and the Hospital for Special Surgery are all inside the neighbourhood. A course of appointments is set up as a standing reservation rather than rebooked each week, with the same chauffeur where the schedule allows and waiting time planned in.
Almost none of it. The zone covers Manhattan below 60th Street, and the neighbourhood runs from roughly 59th up to 96th, so a pickup here starts outside it. A journey that then continues south of 60th does enter the zone, and we tell you when that applies to your trip rather than leaving it to appear afterwards.
It depends on the building, which is why we ask rather than assume. Some co-op boards allow a car under the canopy for a few minutes, others want it on the side street, and a few have a service entrance they prefer for luggage. Whichever applies, it is agreed before the day and the meeting point is confirmed to you in writing.
The whole fleet comes to the same address. Sedans and an Escalade ESV for one to six, a 14-passenger Mercedes Sprinter, mini buses from 23 to 38 seats and a 55-seat motor coach above that. On the narrower numbered streets a larger vehicle may load from the avenue corner instead of the door, and we will say so when the booking is made.
Enter the address and the time; the price comes back before you commit.
