What we are booked for

The work a mission or consulate actually books.

Most of it is not ceremonial: airport runs, meeting days and the same trips every week.

Delegation arrivals

A head of delegation and staff landing together, the bags counted onto a second vehicle so the lead car leaves when the principal is ready, not when the carousel finishes.

Formal visits and meeting days

A car held by the hour for a day between a mission, a hotel and appointments across Midtown, waiting on standby near each address until called.

A consulate's recurring trips

Standing airport runs for staff rotations, a consul's weekly route, transfers for hosted guests.

Staff and visiting groups

Advance teams, interpreters or a hosted group in a Sprinter, mini bus or coach, on the same booking as the principal's car.

How a movement is run

One delegation, several vehicles, one dispatcher.

The same steps for three people or thirty; only the vehicle count changes.

You send the programme

Flights, hotel, meeting addresses, headcount and luggage. If it is still moving, send what you have; late changes are normal.

We confirm it in writing

Each vehicle, time and address comes back in writing, with the passenger names on the booking for building security.

Arrival day

Flights are tracked and the chauffeur meets inside with a sign showing what you ask: a surname, an initial or a reference.

Through the day

One dispatcher holds every vehicle and is the one number your protocol staff call. Cars arrive early and wait on standby.

September in Turtle Bay

The week of the General Assembly.

Each September the high-level week brings heads of state and government to UN Headquarters on First Avenue.

That week the streets around Turtle Bay are heavily restricted, and the restrictions do not sit still. Closures are set by the authorities and change through the day; dispatch re-routes and we plan extra time. We stage cars on the side of a closure the passenger will walk out on, and ask for the week's schedule early, because September is a busy month for chauffeured vehicles in Manhattan.

We are an independent transportation company. UN Headquarters is a place we drive passengers to and from; we have no connection with the United Nations itself.

The fleet

A lead car, and what follows it.

Principals ride in the Escalade ESV or S550; staff and luggage follow in a 14-passenger Sprinter, with the Cargo Sprinter added for heavy luggage.

Showing 3 of 13 vehicles.

Delegation arriving soon?

Send the flights and the programme; every vehicle comes back confirmed in writing. JFK sedan transfers from $140, all-inclusive.

In depth

Getting diplomatic transportation right in New York

Protocol is mostly timing

What makes a formal visit go well is mostly invisible: the car at the door before the principal reaches it, the second vehicle already loaded. So every pickup arrives early and waits on standby, and a day of appointments is booked by the hour, so the schedule can slip and the car is still there.

Buildings that host meetings often want to know in advance who is arriving. Put the passenger names on the booking and we send the chauffeur's details back, so your staff can clear the arrival beforehand.

Discretion, and the recurring work

Who is in the car is the client's business. We need no titles or purpose of visit, only the names a building asks for, and a movement's details go only to the people running it.

Consulates mostly need routine done reliably: staff on rotation, hosted guests, the same airport run each week, set up once as a standing pattern. Private-aircraft arrivals into Teterboro are met at the aviation terminal your aircraft uses.

Good to know

Diplomatic questions, answered.

Do you provide transportation for diplomatic missions and consulates in New York?

Yes. We provide chauffeured sedans, SUVs, Sprinter vans and buses for missions, consulates and visiting delegations, from one airport transfer to multi-day movements. Every booking is confirmed in writing.

How do you handle a delegation arriving at JFK, Newark or Teterboro?

We track each flight and meet the delegation inside with a name sign. The principal usually leaves in a lead car while staff and luggage follow in a Sprinter van, with the Cargo Sprinter added if the bags will not fit. One dispatcher coordinates every vehicle in the movement.

Can you work around road closures during the UN General Assembly?

We plan for them rather than promise to avoid them. The closures are decided by the authorities and shift during the day, so dispatch re-routes as they change and every pickup that week carries extra time. Sending the programme early helps most.

Do you provide armoured vehicles or security staff?

No. We provide chauffeured transportation only, without armoured vehicles, diplomatic plates or protection staff. Where a visit has its own security arrangements, we fit the vehicles and the timings around them.
